Our mission is to provide opportunities of equipping and encouraging all the women of University to grow toward maturity in Christ through worship, study, service, fellowship, and evangelism. The Women’s Ministry is served by a Steering Committee of seven devoted members, including:  
Sharron Fullerton, Sherma Grisham, Melissa Harmon, Neta Norman,
Jessica Oliver, Lesley Reed, and Jackie Smith
Angel Caps:
This ministry is made up of a group of loving women who meet to make hats for newborns and cancer victims at area hospitals.
Bells & Babes: 
Bells & Babes is a ministry that guarantees brides-to-be and mothers-to-be will be honored with a shower so that none will be overlooked.
Blessing of the Backpacks:
An organized group that collects specific school supplies and backpacks for children in need within our church and the community.
Caring Hearts:
Caring Hearts ministers to our shut-ins, but is not limited to this group with cards, calls, and visits.
Laughter and Lagniappe:
Join this fun group quarterly as we eat and explore fun, new, and exciting crafts of interest.
Tuesday Morning Ladies’ Bible Class:
Our pulpit minister, Jerry Hodge, teachers this Tuesday morning class which meets at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Center Fellowship Hall. Topics are most often textual with practical applications for today’s Christian woman.
A nursery is available upon request.
Ladies’ Luncheon:
Join us for a luncheon each year as we review our programs! Share your own ideas, and sign-up for ministries.
Ladies’ Retreat:
Annually, we come together for a day or weekend of encouragement and inspiration
Love Bears:
Bring a smile to a child. Help create comfy “love bears” for children. The crew meets once a week in the
Family  Center Fellowship Hall.
Ladies Salad Supper:
Salad suppers are hosted six times yearly. These suppers are for all new ladies that have joined our University Family. This event is meant to welcome, promote fellowship, and find their special talents.
Special Food Needs: 
This ministry provides food for our families who have suffered a loss or those with a long term illness that are not affiliated with a LIFE Group.
Totes of Hope:
Make a difference in the lives of those in need by helping to collect comfort items to be distributed to women in shelters and within the community.
Where is it Ministry:
“A place for everything and everything in it’s place.” The goal of this ministry is to organize and  inventory all decorations, dishes, etc. from church activities in hopes of reusing it.
Widows Ministry:
These enthusiastic widowed women of University are reaching out to other ladies in the community who have also lost their husbands.
